Pinni is a hearty, traditional, on-the-go breakfast for many working Punjabis. Our grandparents ate two of these with a cup of chai in the morning before working the farm. It'll give you the energy and focus you need for the day, whether you're hitting the trail or headed out for work. Or enjoy it as an afternoon pick-me-up or before your evening workout class.
We made these trail and city ready by adding dried fruits and nuts with our delicate blend of roasted gram and lentil flours. To sweeten it up, we've added jaggery (an unrefined natural sugar from sugarcanes popular in India) and ghee (clarified butter that leaves you with a luscious and unexpected cheesy vibe).
